You probably have several options when it comes to sound bars. Some popular options include the Bose Smart Soundbar 900, Sennheiser Ambeo, and Sony HT-A5000. There are many new models available, including the LG GX. But which model is the best one? Let's have a look at several of them to help you make a decision.
Sennheiser Ambeo
Sennheiser Ambeo soundbar supports surround sound and a wide frequency spectrum. It does not need side speakers or a Subwoofer making it a great choice for home theater systems. It supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X as well as MPEG-H Audio. It can use its acoustics to create a relaxing soundscape.
Ambeo Soundbar comes with six 4" long-throw subwoofers and one pair of 1 inch tweeters. Its unique shape permits it to project ambient sound around a space. This speaker is not recommended to be used in high ceiling rooms. The speaker also needs a relatively flat surface for accurate mapping.

Sony HT-A5000
Sony HT-5500 surround sound system with 5.1.2 channel surround sounds envelopes its users in real-life surround sound. Its up-firing speakers and side beam tweeters create a truly immersive experience. It also has an integrated dual subwoofer and advanced audio software technologies.
The Sony Sound Bar HT-A5000 sounds bar is a mid/high-end choice. It has Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay, Google Chromecast Audio, and Bluetooth. It also has an HDMI 2.1 port. It supports PlayStation 5 and Auto Genre Picture Mode.
Bose Smart Soundbar 900
Although the Bose Smart Soundbar 900 can produce high-end sound, it is not capable of creating a true high-end home theatre experience. The model comes with nine speakers and Bose PhaseGuide sound technology. This makes the sound more directional. Other options are available if quality matters more to you than entertainment.
Bose Smart Soundbar900's treble is clear and uncluttered making it an excellent choice for home entertainment. The stereo THD performance is great, but there is a small increase when the volume is increased to maximum. The soundbar also produces good stereo imaging and solid two-channel delivery. The soundbar also features a dedicated center speaker that allows for clear conversation.

LG GX
If you want to enjoy multidimensional sound, you can't go wrong with the LG GX sound bar. The 3.1-channel, hi-res sound bar mounts flush with your OLED TV and is as thin as the screen. For multi-dimensional sound, it features Dolby Atmos technology and DTS:X technology.
The LG Sound Bar GX, which is very expensive, comes with two HDMIs and a small subwoofer. Dolby Vision passthrough can be found on the soundbar, but it's not HDR10+ or 4K HDR. It also lacks a USB port and does not come with an inbuilt power supply.
