Care.com is a website which helps caregivers connect with their caregivers. It offers pet care, senior care, and child-care services online. You can create an account for free and search for caregivers in your area. Alternately, you may choose to pay for a premium subscription. You will need to create a profile on the website and enter your name as well as address in order to find caregivers. You will then receive job alerts. Premium memberships can be purchased for $48/year or $9/month. This membership allows you to set your own rates, contact candidates, and raise your profile. A background check will be performed. Depending on the level of the background checks, the cost will range from $15 to $47.
Care.com doesn't take commissions out of workers' wages. The site also requires you to be at least 18 years of age, a legal resident of your state, and able to provide a valid photo ID. A background check will be done on you each year by the site for $15-$17.
The Care app can be downloaded for both Android and iOS devices. It allows you to search for job opportunities and decline or accept job offers even if you aren't at your computer. Many Care users dislike the app for being slow and unstable. You cannot also chat with candidates. You can also search caregivers by location, but this is not a good option. However it does require that you update your address every few month.
